The Rainbow Scholars Leadership Development Program is proud to announce the fourth annual Rainbow Conference, taking place on Monday, April 13th from 1pm - 4pm in LaCava EDR. Hosted at Bentley and sponsored by the Gender and Sexuality Student Programs Office (GSSP) and Center for Women and Business (CWB), this event serves as the culminating element of the Rainbow Scholars Program, which was recently named NASPA Program of the Year.
Join us as our Rainbow Scholars delve into a myriad of subjects, shedding light on topics related to LGBTQ+ and allied identities and experiences. All are welcome to participate in this enriching experience, where you will engage in interactive activities crafted to stimulate thought, encourage reflection, facilitate learning, and inspire action. All are welcome to engage in this opportunity to learn from our Scholars.
The Conference will consist of three one-hour workshops focusing on each topic, with doors opening at 12:45PM for an early reception. Attendees are not required to attend the full conference in order to participate -- folks are encouraged to register for one or more workshops. Light refreshments will be provided, and we look forward to engaging the wider Bentley community in important conversations centered around topics impacting the LGBTQ+ and allied communities.

Background: The GSSP Office and CWB launched the Rainbow Scholars Program in September 2022. This program is a one-year long intersectional leadership development program that provides LGBTQ+ and allied undergraduate students with the opportunity to grow in both their personal and professional development through learning, engagement, and networking. Through this program, Rainbow Scholars develop skills of leadership, advocacy, and identity awareness, and present a final workshop as part of the Rainbow Conference.
