The purpose of our organization is to promote, encourage, and sustain student interest in actuarial science, insurance, and risk management. Our organization will accomplish this by creating a community of students, alumni, and faculty who share this interest. Members of this organization will have access to national conferences, networking opportunities, and campus-held seminars to help foster their personal and professional growth.
For a small fee, students can become a member of our chapter and have a lifetime affiliation with Gamma Iota Sigma! In addition to the benefits described in the mission statement, members will also have access to additional career fairs to obtain an internship/job in the industry. Moreover, Gamma Iota Sigma has a strong alumni network to keep members involved even after they graduate.
