Jay Peak Weekend

BSSC takes on Jay Peak! Two days skiing plus two nights lodging at Jay Peak. Saturday Night Water Park Party 8:30pm-10:30pm. Catch Jay Peak during a prime snow weekend on February 20-22nd! This weekend event sells out every year, don't miss it!

TRIP ITINERARY

Friday - Feb 20th
Begin loading busses at 2:30pm in front of Collins Hall → Depart Bentley at 3:00pm (BUSSES ARE MANDATORY, NO CARPOOLING)
Arrive at Jay Peak between 7-8pm (usually 4 hour drive on average) and conduct condo check in → this process will go bus by bus.
Following check in, busses will park at central location where people will unload and find their condo with their roommates

Saturday - Feb 21st
Wake up and ski all day.
Lifts stop spinning at 4:00pm
Private waterpark opens at 8:30 and will remain open for two hours
Shuttle can be called via condo phone to get transportation to and from the waterpark. People may also walk if they desire, there are locker rooms to put outdoor clothes.

Sunday - Feb 22nd
Wake up and ski all day.
Condo check out is at 10:00am
Bags will be able to be stored in ball room of main hotel until trip departs
This will be the central hub for Sunday, and people can hang out, change, do whatever they desire
Lifts stop spinning at 4:00pm,
Buses begin to load at 4:30pm at the circle below the hotel.
Departs at 5:00pm
Arrive at campus by 9:00pm.

Behavior Expectations -
Attendees are expected to follow all university policies, bus company rules, and Jay Peak guidelines. This includes respectful behavior in condos (this includes alcohol policies, no underage drinking), safe conduct on the mountain and at the waterpark, and adherence to quiet hours, occupancy limits, and all posted safety rules.

Expectations will be clearly communicated through a mandatory pre-trip safety meeting on Wednesday FEBRUARY 11TH @2pm in Back Bays (Student Center First Floor), and verbal reminders during bus loading and condo check-in. Attendees must acknowledge all rules at the point of ticket purchase. Violations (e.g., unsafe behavior, misconduct, property damage, or failure to follow instructions) will be documented and handled as needed.

Cancellation Policy -
If you cancel before December 20th ($50 fee)
If you cancel before January 20th ($100 fee)
If you cancel after January 20th (No refund policy)
HOWEVER, students can find an other student to swap with them for no fee until January 20th. If you swap after January 20th - February 12th, you will be charged $50.
After Feb 12th, there are no options. This is non-negotiable.
