Mission
BASA strives to promote Asian culture and cultural understanding within the Bentley community. Our mission is to provide a network of support and a safe space for Asian, Asian-American, and non-Asian students alike at Bentley by creating awareness and understanding of culture, heritage, and identity within the community at large.

We host annual events such as the Asian Night Market in the Fall and the Asian Culture Gala in the Spring to showcase foods and performances from different Asian cultures.

The Bentley Catholic Association (BCA) is a student organization that serves to enhance the spiritual development of Catholics across the Bentley University campus by means of weekly services, community outreach events, and informal gatherings. As members of the Bentley Catholic Association, we strive to form strong bonds among one another, welcome new members into our organization with open arms, and do everything we can to support each other in our spiritual development. Our communal mission is to create a strong network of loving, compassionate young adults who care for each other and strive to put God's will first in our daily lives. We try to give each other the care and support we need to discover more about our relationships with God. Our spiritual mission is to provide a place for members to share, strengthen and grow in faith. We work to learn more about our faith and strive to grow closer to God.

Fr. Ted Brown is our Catholic Chaplain and we are very excited to have him. He joins us from the Missionaries of Our Lady of La Salette. He is available for the Sacrament of Reconciliation by appointment. His contact information is tedbrown@bentley.edu.

The purpose of B.U.B is to celebrate, educate and promote the black culture on and off campus. Additionally, B.U.B will promote retention and academic success for Black and African American Students. We are dedicated to diversity and cultural awareness by promoting open dialogue between Black students and the entire Bentley community. The purpose of BRASA is to bring Brazil to campus, with the intent of demystifying its multiple facets including culture, economy, business environment, politics, and social issues. It provides its members the opportunity to understand the dynamics of its economy, the mindset of its people, in order to forward Bentley's mission of promoting global citizens. It also serves the purpose of giving Brazilian students a platform to voice their concerns and share their experience with others alike.

We, the Executive Board of the Cape Verdean Student Association, choose to promote and preserve the
Cape Verdean culture and heritage here at Bentley University through educational fundamentals, such as
discussion panels and lectures, and through social proceedings, such as cultural events and festivities.
Also, we shall make a strong commitment to visit local high schools in an effort to actively recruit Cape
Verdeans students to continue our legacy on campus. We will accomplish this through maintaining a
strong and enduring relationship with the MCC and many students of color on campus.

We have two parts to our larger community:
Cru meets Wednesdays at 7pm in the Sacred Space (Student Center top floor)
Athletes in Action (AIA) at 7pm in the Carlton Room (Dana Center second floor)

G3s (group of 3 or more): These are our mentoring groups led by student leaders or Cru staff who are on campus.

Connection with other schools: Cru is an international organization that is on dozens of campuses here in the Boston area. A couple times a semester we gather with schools in our area to do something bigger and better together.

The purpose of GASA is to celebrate and spread the culture of the lovely West African Country of Ghana, as well as help expand the diversity on the Bentley Campus. We will embrace the music, food and languages that all make Ghana such an amazing place. Organization members will have the chance to aid the Ghanaian community through various ways. It also gives members an opportunity to become more immersed in Ghanaian culture and have the opportunity to grow an advance in an organization similar to that of a work environment through dedication and hard work.

The purpose of The KSA is to introduce Korean culture through performances, food, and folk games, and raise awareness of Bentley University within Boston and South Korea. KSA will also serve to grow its South Korean alumni network via KSA alumni meetings held in South Korea.
