LETTER FROM THE PRESIDENT

Hello!

My name is Shlok Malhotra, and I am the President of the Lambda Tau Chapter of Delta Sigma Pi at Bentley University. Our chapter was founded in 1987 by 11 ambitious Bentley Students who wanted to further our pillars of Brotherhood, Community Service, and Professionalism to our fellow Bentley students and the surrounding community. Over the years, I am proud to say that we have grown into a significantly larger business organization dedicated to furthering the professional advancement of our brotherhood and, as a result, shaping a generation of well-rounded and thoughtful leaders of tomorrow.

Today, we have over 80 active brothers from diverse backgrounds committed to our chapter's daily advancement. We also have a network of over 700+ alumni who support our brothers by mentoring us, providing us with professional opportunities, and attending our events to share their experiences. Delta Sigma Pi is a community that constantly pushes boundaries and provides a home away from home to students like myself, who originate from thousands of miles away.

Professional Development lies at the core of our daily activities. Through both our recruitment events and our semesterly workshops, our brothers partner with multi-disciplined organizations to help our members and the overarching Bentley Community learn a multitude of attributes such as resume-building, networking, and interview preparation, along with soft skills such as emotional intelligence, managing diversity in the workplace and interpersonal communication. Delta Sigma Pi's teachings and network of insightful alums have helped brothers land jobs at top corporations such as JP Morgan, Microsoft, and L'Oreal.

Lambda Tau also understands and believes in bettering our surrounding community through service. Therefore, our chapter runs various events that promote and donate to organizations improving physical and mental health standards, underprivileged communities, and our local environment. We have notably worked with the Ronald McDonald House, to whom we donate yearly through many interactive events.

Finally, my favorite part of our chapter is our dedication to creating an inclusive and welcoming environment by focusing intensely on our brotherhood. Since I came to Bentley, the brothers have been there to celebrate with me through my successes and pick me up during tough times. Whether it's an impromptu hike or our widely popular study hours, our brothers seldom have a dull day in each other's company! Surrounding myself with like-minded and inspired individuals has given me an insurmountable amount of learning I will always cherish.

As the President of The Lambda Tau Chapter, I welcome you to our website!

Sincerely,

Shlok Malhotra

Lambda Tau Chapter President 2023
