Fraternity and Sorority Life

Fraternity & Sorority Life at Bentley, also known as "FSL" or Greek Life, is a community of creative, ethical, and socially responsible leaders dedicated to advancing personal growth, social connections, philanthropy, and academic success at Bentley University. FSL at Bentley comprises about 17% of undergraduate students.

Alpha Phi

The sisterhood of Alpha Phi is composed of more than 165 collegiate campuses worldwide with close to 200,000 members. We all share the same values of sisterhood, scholarship, and service. All of which pioneer leadership, focus on the bond of loyalty, and create high expectations for character development. At Bentley University, the Zeta Rho Chapter enhances and promotes each member's development and learning by focusing on these core values that make our sisterhood thrive. In addition to our academic achievement and involvement on our campus and in our community, we hold a special place in our hearts for our philanthropy, the Alpha Phi foundation, which supports women's heart health.

Gamma Phi Beta

Gamma Phi Beta embodies its four core values of love, learning, labor, and loyalty. The genuine bond created between sisters is strengthened even further through each of our sisterhood and philanthropy events. Gamma Phi Beta's philanthropic mission is to build strong girls, which we do by supporting our philanthropic partner, Girls on the Run. We provide support both financially as well as through community service. The sisters of Gamma Phi continue to build strong girls both outside as well as within the chapter.

Each sister makes a commitment to live up to these values, demonstrated by our endless support of each other, pledge to academic excellence, and contributions to our philanthropies. We are a dynamic, principled, passionately committed group of women from around the world who define ourselves not by our distinct differences, but by what we have in common.

This Fraternity prides itself on fostering leaders not only in the classroom but in the community as well. Each semester AGP hosts philanthropy events to raise money for organizations such as the Second Chance Animal Shelter along with having many brothers participate in Habitat for Humanity throughout the year. AGP is more than just an organization, it is a brotherhood with never-ending benefits for which membership extends a lifetime. Beyond gaining a second family, many brothers secure internships and jobs through the alumni network. Alpha Gamma Pi is committed to supporting it's members and the community academically, socially, and philanthropically.

Additionally, the organization aims to create a cohesive brotherhood that will stand the test of time. In unity is strength!

This leadership can be seen through our comprehensive academic and career development programs that guide our Brothers down career paths, following their Bentley experience. Most importantly, our Brotherhood is like a second family, and we each have the utmost respect and care for one another.

Interested in Starting a Culturally-Based Fraternity or Sorority?

Bentley has a request process for considering the addition of other culturally-based campus-based and city-wide fraternities or sororities. Groups must be affiliated with one of the following: National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC), National Association of Latino Fraternal Organizations (NALFO), National Multicultural Greek Council (NMGC), or National Asian Pacific Islander American Panhellenic Association (NAPA).
