Today, Ahmed Amer explains the importance of celebrating and being part of the Annual MLK Celebration.
1. Why are you speaking at the event? What is the purpose of your speech? In recognition of my contribution to the Bentley community, I was invited by the MLK committee to share a bit of my story and to reflect on Dr. King’s ideas.
2. What does this event mean to you?
This invitation means a lot to me because it shows that the work, we are all doing, is visible and appreciated! Finally, many of Dr. King’s ideas impacted critical decisions I have taken throughout my life. Therefore, to be invited in an event that commemorates Dr. King’s legacy is a great honor for me!
