Advisor’s Corner: Registration Prep

Registration Preparation Checklist (all information viewable on Workday):

  • Ensure you don’t have any registration holds (can view these in your “Academics” tab under “Action Items and Holds”). You will not be able to register for courses until your holds have been lifted, so make sure you speak with the appropriate office to resolve your holds.

  • Review your degree audit to view your degree progress and remaining classes.

  • Be aware of any prerequisites required for your remaining courses – these need to be taken first! (View this information under the “eligibility” section when looking at classes)

  • Register on or around your indicated registration date/time.

  • NOTE: Registration does not close; but the earlier you register for your desired courses, the more likely you are to avoid being waitlisted.

If you have any questions about your upcoming course planning and registration, please schedule an appointment with your Graduate Academic Advisor. You can also address shorter, more general questions with an advisor during our graduate drop-in hours (Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from 11 AM – 2 PM; in-person or via Zoom).

Celtics Headquarters Visit

On March 3rd, 2026, Bentley graduate students got an inside look at the Boston Celtics Headquarters! Throughout the visit, they connected with seasoned professionals including Senior VP & Controller of Finance, VP of Marketing and VP of Business Strategies & Operations. Our students asked thoughtful questions and gained a clearer picture of how their skills translate into the sports industry. The experience opened the door to new possibilities on the business side of sports and sparked fresh ideas for where their careers can go next.
