E-Board Positions & Openings

E-Board

BSGO's Executive Board (E-board) is split into 5 teams: Media & Marketing, Internal Operations, External Operations, Treasury, and our Liaisons Team. The E-board solely handles all of the activities and planning necessary behind all BSGO related activities and events at Bentley University both on and off campus.

Media & Marketing

The Media & Marketing Team consists of our VP of Media & Marketing and 2 coordinators recruited at the beginning of the year and works with the rest of the board to brainstorm, visualize, and produce promotional material for BSGO related activities and events. BSGO’s marketing team strives to create engagement, social media presence, and news updates for the org through making event posters/ads, taking event photos for our social media handles, and writing news updates for BSGO’s student general body.

Internal Operations

External Operations

The External Operations team consists of our VP of External Operations and 1 coordinator recruited throughout the year to network with other on campus clubs/orgs, schools, and local businesses to create opportunities for collaboration and sponsorship efforts for BSGO. The team works to communicate and outreach towards external parties to connect and share information in order to foster and grow BSGO’s connections for future activities, events, and partnerships.

Treasury

The BSGO Treasury consists of our org treasurer, who handles all of the budgeting, accounting, and financial advising for BSGO’s yearly spending. The treasurer works with the school’s Allocation & Internal Audit (AIA) and Student Program & Engagement (SP&E) orgs to handle the request and approval process for BSGO’s funding and spending for events, activities, and transactions in a timely manner.

Liaisons Team

The Liaisons Team consists of our VP of Liaisons Coordinator and 3-5 newly recruited liaisons throughout the year. The VP of Liaisons Coordinator works as a mentor to integrate and familiarize BSGO's E-board structure and operations to student liaisons who are not quite sure what team to join, but still want to be involved with BSGO. Liaisons then shadow/support current E-board members and teams throughout the semester/year to gain skills and experience they can use to pick which team to join in a later semester or year.
